Event Solution
The Need The Client was a retail merchant that regularly hosts promotional events where customers could attend receptions and sample items. As a part of their marketing strategy, the Client wanted to track and limit the number of available tickets per event and let customers know in real time how many tickets were available to any of their current events.
The Solution Skipjack created an easily-updatable solution that displayed event information as well as the number of current tickets available. Customers could visit the on-line payment page, select the number of desired tickets per event and process their order. This automatically reduced the “inventory” of available event tickets. The Client’s marketing efforts was so successful that events of 1,000 tickets were sold out in minutes, with Skipjack’s solution easily able to handle the transaction volume.
The Results
Over many events, the Client has increased marketing opportunities by increasing ticket sales efficiency and by more effectively marketing to their target audience based on data collected through the Skipjack payment solution.
